Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schramm to celebrate golden anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schramm, 1245 Jefferson Ave., Salem, will be honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary
The former Bonnie Linder and Mr. Schramm were married on April 17, 1966, at the First Christian Church in Salem. The Rev. Harold Deitch of the church officiated.
Mr. Schramm retired from the Home Savings and Loan Company in 2007 after 39 years of service.
Mrs. Schramm retired in 2006 from the Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association.
The Schramms graduated in 1965 from Salem High School and are members of the First Christian Church. They enjoy traveling, especially to visit their grandchildren, Matthew and Morgan Schramm and Rebecca, Rachael, Grace and Kacey Ayres.
The couple’s children are Matt (Jenny) Schramm of Dublin and Sarah (Andy) Ayres of Stafford, Va.
Carol and Fred Kaiser, Mrs. Schramm’s sister and brother-in-law, hosted a small family celebration on April 17 at their home in Point of Rocks, Md.
Following the festivities, Mr. and Mrs. Schramm traveled to Gatlinburg, Tenn., and visited the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The couple went to Las Vegas last fall for an early celebration and visited the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam along with the local Vegas sites.
