The event is hosted by the couple’s children and their spouses.

Mr. Hawkins was born June 28, 1921, in New Waterford. He served in the Army Signal Corp in the South Pacific in World War II, volunteered in his church, and is always a devoted father and friend. He retired from Kaiser/National Refractories after 24 years of service and continues to enjoy church, spending time with family, traveling and woodworking.

Mrs. Hawkins was born Aug. 15, 1926 in Springville, Iowa. She treasures fond memories of service to the Lord with family, including a two year residence in Kenya. A lifelong love of travel has taken her to places far and near for purposes philanthropic and pleasurable, each yielding life changing opportunities to love, serve and make friends. Now at Glenellen, she continues to enjoy nurturing her flowers.

The couple requests gifts be omitted.
