Kimberly Day Ryan plans marriage to Joshua James Flowers

Kimberly Day Ryan and Joshua James Flowers are engaged and planning an early spring wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Don and Linda Ryan of 513 Lambertsville Road, Stoystown, Pa.

The bridegroom is the son of John and Laurie Flowers, 5113 Hawkins Road, New Waterford; and the grandson of James Simpson of New Waterford, and the late Jayn Simpson.

The couple’s private, double-ring ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. April 26 at Bradys Run Lodge.

Invitations will be issued for the private reception to follow at the lodge.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. She is employed by the Vision Financial Group Inc. and the Sheraton Hotel Airport in Pittsburgh.

The prospective bridegroom, a 2002 graduate of Crestview High School, also graduated in 2008 from the Pittsburgh Culinary Institute. He is employed at Montour Run Country Club in Coraopolis, Pa.
