Jennifer Renee Bellanca becomes bride of Thomas Gordon Oeschger

Jennifer Renee Bellanca and Thomas Gordon Oeschger were united in marriage on June 22 at St. Louise de Marillac Church in Pittsburgh. Father Mike Caridi officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, Pete and Kathy Bellanca of Wellsville. She wore an ivory colored Couture gown with a scoop neckline. She carried a bouquet of light pink peonies.

Serving as matron of honor was her cousin, Melissa Sperber. Bridesmaids included Amy Oeschger, the bridegroom’s sister-in-law; and Julie Lowe, Dani Pash, Alanna Seamon and Paula Wittekind. The flower girl was Violet Rizer, the bride’s cousin. The bridal party wore black floor-length gowns organza gowns with sweetheart necklines.

Parents of the bridegroom are Gordon and Janis Oeschger of Chester Springs, Pa. The best men were his brothers, Mike and Tim Oeschger.

Groomsmen included Dave Oeschger, the bridegroom’s cousin; and brothers of the bride, John Bellanca, Joe Bellanca and Petie Bellanca. The ring bearer was Linus Rizer, the bride’s cousin.

A reception was held at Bella Sera in Canonsburg, Pa., following the ceremony.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Beaver Local High School. She completed her education at Youngstown State University and is a talent acquisition specialist.

The bridegroom, a 2001 graduate of Highlands Ranch High School, completed his education at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is a graphic designer.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica and reside in Pittsburgh.
