Emily McArthur becomes bride of Jarrod “Bubba” Taylor
Emily McArthur became the bride of Jarrod “Bubba” Taylor on July 12 at Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church in Homeworth.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Carol McArthur of 2539 Depot Road, Salem. The bridegroom’s parents are Paul and Doreen Taylor, 2323 state Route 45, Salem.
Pastor Robert Rowley officiated at the couple’s double-ring ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Matrons of honor were the bride’s sisters, Amanda Medure and Sarah Andrea, both of Salem.
Bridesmaids were Jenna Hoperich, Genna Kim, Britney Nannah, Ashley Bergman; and Jennifer McArthur, the bride’s sister-in-law.
Flower girls were Brynn and Claire Medure, the bride’s nieces.
Serving as best men were the bridegroom’s brothers, Zack Taylor of Salem and Shane Taylor of Imperial, Pa.
Ushers included the bridegroom’s cousins, Brian Taylor and Jonas Fortune; Anthony McCallister, Matt Mowery; and Josh McArthur, the bride’s brother.
Ring bearers were Luke Hicks, Jase Medure, Maddox Andrea, Jude Andrea and Landon McArthur, the bride and bridegroom’s nephews.
Approximately 280 guests attended the reception at Brookside Farms in Louisville.
Following a honeymoon to Barbados, the couple resides in New Albany.
The bride is a 2005 United Local High School graduate and received a master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Kent State University. She is employed by Mount Carmel Health Care System.
The bridegroom, a 2005 United Local High School graduate, is currently employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation in the traffic management division.
