Christa Marie Boyle exchanges vows with Christopher Richard Forte

Christa Marie Boyle and Christopher Richard Forte were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Sept. 21 at Navy Beach in Montauk, N. Y.

The bride is the daughter of Doug and Jill Boyle of Damascus.

The bridegroom’s parents are Louis and Diane Forte of Mount Kisco, N. Y., and Dave and Sandy Coryell of Harelysville, Pa.

The couple’s double-ring ceremony was officiated by Michelle Forte, the bridegroom’s aunt, with nuptial music on acoustic guitar by Dan Donnelly. Special readings during the ceremony were performed by Jan Zielke of Damascus, the bride’s aunt; Christa Rotolo of Weekhawken, N.J., the bridegroom’s cousin; and James Corbett of New York, N.Y., the bridegroom’s cousin.

She was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore an original design by Rosa Clara imported from Spain, an elegant sensual form-fitted strapless gown of delicate Ecru silk chiffon featuring a sweetheart neckline and a modern soft tiered cascade skirt that swept into a chapel-length train. The gown was accented with a jeweled belt at the waistline. In her side swept hair were two small white Dutch hydrangeas. She carried a bouquet filled with white Dutch hydrangeas, blue viburnium berry, scabiosa pods, white snow berry, white lysmachia and blue thistle. The bouquet was wrapped with navy blue and white ribbon and clad with a World War II army tag belonging to the bride’s late grandfather, Grant Reichart. Wedding colors included navy blue with accents of seafoam blue and fuchsia.

Sarah Shepler of Gahanna served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Melissa Forte of New York, N.Y, the bridegroom’s sister-in-law; Shanna Moser of Harleysville, Pa., the bridegroom’s sister; Katie Michalak of Chicago and Gretchen Taylor of Dublin. Both the matron of honor and bridesmaids wore knee-length navy blue silk chiffon dresses and carried fuchsia hydrangea bouquets with accents of blue viburnium berry, scabiosa pods, blue thistle and snowberry.

Grace Boyle of Salem, the bride’s niece, was the flower girl.

Lou Forte of New York, N.Y., the bridegroom’s brother, served as the best man. Groomsmen included Alex Rotolo of Norwalk, Conn., the bridegroom’s cousin; John Forte of Mount Kisco, N.Y., the bridegroom’s brother; Tim Mercer of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Bryan Boyle of Salem, the bride’s brother.

Grant Boyle of Salem, the bride’s nephew, was the ring bearer.

Approximately 100 guests attended the reception at Navy Beach. Special guests in attendance included Louis Forte of Somers, N.Y., the bridegroom’s grandfather; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Webber of Palm Coast, Fla., the bridegroom’s grandparents; and the now deceased Doris Reichart, the bride’s grandmother.

In lieu of wedding favors, donations were made to the Preeclampsia Foundation in memory and honor of Candice Boyle, the bride’s sister-in-law, and to the American Cancer Society in memory and honor of Dorothy Forte, the bridgroom’s grandmother.

Following a week in Montauk after the wedding and a delayed honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple resides in Yonkers, N.Y.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of West Branch High School and a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University with degree in construction systems management. She is employed as a project manager at Adelhardt Construction Corp. in New York, N.Y.
