Amanda Rae Mesmer exchanges vows with David Lloyd Miller

Amanda Rae Mesmer became the bride of David Lloyd Miller on Oct. 7 at Butler North Church in Youngstown.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Patty Mesmer of East Palestine. The bridegroom is the son of Becky Semes of Tampa, Fla.

Pastor Ben Kendrew officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, appeared in a gown featuring a high illusion neckline and low back, embellished with beads and crystals that flowed into a mermaid skirt and chapel train with satin and crystal buttons down the back. She carried a bouquet of antique blush roses, baby’s breath and seeded eucalyptus.

Kaitlyn Mesmer, the bride’s sister, served as maid of honor. In mix and match black and tan gowns were bridesmaids Korie Brittain, Tracy Reinard, Megan Meek, Chelsea Stevens, Jalissa Miller and Jessica Miller.

Brian Keenan and Jared Welday performed duties of best men. Groomsmen were Jake Stone, Josh Rinkes, Brandon Stevens, Doug Miller and John Watts.

Finn Harvey served as ring bearer and Rylee Brittain as flower girl.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree from Ohio University. She is a nursing home administrator with Humility House in Austintown.

The bridegroom graduated from West Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree. He is employed as a laboratory technician with UPMC in Verona, Pa.

A reception followed the ceremony at Drake’s Landing in Canfield.

Following a honeymoon to Maryland, the couple resides in Poland.
