Sarah Ann Skiba exchanges wedding vows with Adam Michael Rych

Sarah Ann Skiba and Adam Michael Rych were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony on Aug. 13 at the Blair Center in Westfield Center. Judge Kevin Dunn officiated the couple’s wedding and Blending of the Sands ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Sue Skiba of Salem. The bridegroom’s parents are Kevin and Jane Rych of Westfield Center.

Escorted down the aisle by her parents, the bride wore an ivory gown with rhinestone and gray pearl embellishments on lace designed by Maggie Sottero.

Jordan McFerren Shea was the matron of honor. Serving as best man was Austin Rych, the bridegroom’s brother.

Bridal attendants were Ashley Eckroth, Janelle Terry, Alex Shuey and Steph Wong. Groomsmen were Andrew Skiba, Jonathan Cross and Michael Leon.

Approximately 130 guests attended the reception immediately following at the Blair Center.

The bridegroom’s parents hosted the rehearsal dinner the evening before at their home.

The bride is a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s of science in nursing and is a registered nurse in the emergency department at the Cleveland Clinic Medina Campus.

The bridegroom, a graduate of Case Western University with a degree in physics, is employed at Ohio Lumex in Solon.

The newlyweds reside in Westfield Center and honeymooned in Puerto Rico.
