CANFIELD — Windsor House Inc., local owners and operators of 12 nursing homes and five assisted living communities in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, will hold a grand opening of the Mahoning Valley’s newest skilled nursing center, Windsor House at Canfield, 6445 state Route 446.

A ribbon cutting will take place at noon Oct. 22, followed by tours and refreshments until 4 p.m.

Windsor House at Canfield comprises 60,000 square feet consisting of 72 private resident rooms, a large state of art therapy gym and numerous other amenities include chapel, beauty/barber salon, cafe and library. Windsor House Inc. has been working on this project for over two years as a Join Economic Development District (JEDD) was formed between Windsor House, Canfield City and Canfield Township. This is the first JEDD formed in Mahoning County and the only skilled nursing center in Canfield.
