Lisbon council fills vacancy
LISBON – Tom Darcy was chosen Tuesday to replace Village Councilman Willis Coleman, who stepped down at the end of April.
Council selected Darcy to over three other applicants: Julie Hilliard, the wife of a village police officer; former mayor’s secretary Cheryl Mills; and former councilman Ryan Hillman.
Coleman’s seat was up this year, and Darcy, who is manager of Sparkle Market, is also a candidate for one of the four council seats up for election in November. Other candidates on the ballot are Hilliard, Mills, Jeff Elliott, and incumbents Joe Morenz and Roger Gallo.
