The Goodwins will headline Gospel Jubilee

The fall season of Victory Gospel Jubilee in North Lima will kick off on Sept. 7 with a two hour concert featuring The Goodwins from Poca, W.Va. The Jubilee concerts will be on Saturday nights at 7 p.m. this year at the former South Range High School which is now the North Lima Business Complex on South Avenue. Again this year the Jubilee will be hosted by the Golden Street Singers from Farmdale. The Goodwins began in 1982 and this year are marking 25 years in the music ministry. Beginning as a father/daughter team with just an acoustic guitar for accompaniment, John Goodwin and his daughter Martha Goodwin-Drake are now traveling with Martha’s son Brandon and daughter Katie. Martha Goodwin-Drake is a powerful vocalist and has written and performed several songs that have climbed the national gospel music charts. The Goodwins have been featured in Singing News magazine and bring a professional and powerful music ministry to the Victory Gospel Jubilee. To reserve free tickets, call 800-284-9709.
