Mr. Darby’s car show benefits cancer victim

Mr. Darby’s Antique and Collectible Emporium in North Lima sponsored a car show cancer benefit for Debbie Grover of Canfield on Sunday that drew over 100 show cars conpeting for 15 judged trophies. Grover is battling stage 4 cervical cancer with ongoing treatment. Money raised will go for mortgage payments on her residence. Bob Neapolitan, co-owner of the business with his mother, arranged for “Fat and Furious” – local TV entertainers – to appear. They arrived by firetruck. The cruise was organized by Salem’s Arby’s Cruisin’ Crew. A red 1960 Dodge 500 convertible stands next to a 1971 Chevelle along with a Chevy pickup and early model Chevrolet Monte Carlo at the entrance to Mr. Darby’s.
