Victory Gospel Jubilee returns

The Victory Gospel Jubilee returns to North Lima on Friday, Sept. 5 with the Mercy River Quartet from Massillon highlighting the evening.

The Jubilee’s fall schedule will feature concerts on the first Friday night of each month through December and the will conclude with the third annual New Year’s Eve sing.

The concerts will be in the auditorium of the North Lima Business Complex, which is the former South Range High School location on South Avenue.

The singing begins at 7 p.m. Again this year the Golden Street Singers from Farmdale will host the two-hour concerts which have free admission.

A free will offering will be lifted. Jeff Lowe, Mercy River’s bass singer and manager, has enjoyed a long career in singing southern gospel music. The quartet ministers at churches and gospel events throughout northeast Ohio.

Gary Price is the group’s tenor. Chris Mulpas , baritone; and Craig Mulpas, lead. This is the third season for the Victory Gospel Jubilee in North Lima.
