Art exhibit brings awareness of domestic violence

This work of Lana VanAuker titled “Broken Dreams” was declared first place in the second annual Artisans Against Domestic Violence art exhibit at the Courtyard Square in downtown Salem. Shown with the work is Daryl Hersh of Ozer Ministries. The exhibit, which continues today from noon to 4 p.m. and is open to the public, is sponsored by the Columbiana County NO MORE campaign which is funded through the Columbiana County Dept. of Jobs and Family Services. Hersh is co-director of Ozer Ministries which she and her husband, John, founded 30 years ago in East Palestine. Their efforts include outreach for the local NO MORE campaign to end domestic violence and sexual assault. More photos in Neighborhood News. (Salem News photo by J.D. Creer)
