Memorial ride

The Outspoken’ Wheelmen held a ride of remembrance starting at Salem’s East Second Street municipal parking lot Wednesday evening. David Hughes said it was a national ride in remembrance of those killed and injured while riding bikes and the group rode a course around the city of Salem starting at 5:30 p.m. Hughes said, “This ride is remembrance of those who have been injured severely hurt and sometimes killed while riding their bicycles. We all love to ride a bike and that’s the reason we’re here.” Pictured from left are Ron Puhalla, John Gamble, Celeste Baronzzi, Holly Calvert, Beth Risden, Tony Rothbrust, Bob Murwin, Dave McCuen, Jan Williams, Brad Wood, Jack Henderson and David Hughes.
