Career Center renews food contract
Staff Reports
LISBON — The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center voted this week to again have a food service contract with The Nutrition Group for the upcoming school year.
Once again there will be no charge for students for breakfast or lunch.
Treasurer Katherine Mihalich said last year it cost the CCCTC $60,000 in order to offer that service to the students attending there. The Nutrition Group served 54,000 meals for that amount, which was just a little more than a $1 per student meal served.
In another matter, the board voted to reduce the number of hours of the high school confidential administrative assistant possition from 260 days per year to 215, effective Aug. 1.
