The Columbiana Volunteer Fire Department hosted its 12th Community Safety Day Saturday in recognition of Fire Safety Week. Firefighters, police officers and EMS personnel presented live demonstrations, and talked with guests big and small as they crawled through their vehicles and got a closeup look at their various rescue and safety equipment. Visitors also enjoyed assorted goodies as they sought warmth in the fire house.
