Damascus church plans craft show

The Damascus United Methodist Church on Valley Road will host its annual Home & Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday as part of Light Up Damascus. The event will feature a lunch counter with proceeds going toward a Ukraine missions trip and a cookie walk with proceeds going toward the preschool. There will also be free Hot Pots ornament painting with the finished product available at Tim Barnes Insurance at 28941 U.S. Route 62 and a free photo booth with props which will move to the Damascus Friends Church after 1 p.m. Light Up Damascus features a number of community events throughout the day and the light up ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in the Friends Church north parking lot.
