TownCenter car show to raise funds for SRMC Foundation
COLUMBIANA–TownCenter at Firestone Farms in Columbiana will host a Benefit Car Show from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. All proceeds from the event will remain locally in the community and be used to benefit the Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Foundation, which raises funds to support patient care at SRMC.
“We’re thrilled that Firestone Farms has chosen the Foundation as its charity for this fun summer event,” said Amy Reed, SRMC director of development. “Auto enthusiasts and car clubs of any type are invited to enter their vehicles in the show, and there will be a variety of activities for participants and spectators to enjoy throughout the afternoon and evening.”
In addition to the classic and specialty vehicles, the festivities will include a Chinese Auction and 50/50 drawing. Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in free health screenings provided by SRMC and browse the TownCenter’s specialty shops and restaurants.
Following the car show, attendees can stay for live music by The John Reese Project from 7 to 9 p.m.
The event is open to the public, and admission is free for all spectators. The cost to register a vehicle in the show is $5. All makes and models of cars, trucks, jeeps, semis, motorcycles and tractors are welcome. Trophies will be awarded in various categories, with special guest judges to include SRMC President/CEO Dr. Anita Hackstedde, orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Lee Simon of Salem Orthopaedic Surgery and urologist Dr. Michael Scolieri of the Comprehensive Urology Institute.
