Columbiana Chamber announces 2013 award recipients
COLUMBIANA – The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the award recipients to be honored at the 60th annual awards banquet on Feb. 24 at the Dutch Village Inn.
The honorees are Dallas Lehman for educator of the year; Tanner Perkins for young citizen of the year; Graft Electric for business of the year; Keith Chamberlin and Jay Groner for lifetime of service awards; Ginny Perkins and Larry Deidrick for outstanding community service awards.
The Business Development Committee of the Chamber will be honoring Buckeye Transfer Realty LLC for adaptive reuse and upgrading; All Points Physical Medicine for business expansion; Crestview Performing Arts Center for new construction; and the city of Columbiana for special community improvement award.
Milestone awards will be given to Sitler’s Flowers and Greenhouse, PHD Manufacturing Inc., HRG Inc. and Farmers National Bank.
The event will include hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert, with the recognition of the award winners following. Speaker for the evening is Steven T. Ruwoldt, president/chief executive officer of Salem Community Hospital. The community is invited to attend.
