MCMSA annual brunch, fashion show set

CANFIELD – The Mahoning County Medical Society Alliance is hosting its ninth annual Champagne Brunch/Fashion Show on Feb. 22 at Avion on the Water, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road. All proceeds will benefit the Midlothian Free Health Clinic.

The event begins with a social and Chinese auction at 10 a.m. followed by a champagne brunch at 11 a.m. A style show presented by Talbot’s with the latest in women’s apparel and accessories follows. Men’s apparel will be from The Difference. Concepts Salon and Spa are in charge of hairstyles. Leanne Binder will provide musical entertainment.

Cost is $30 per person and tables of up to 10 can be reserved by request. Reservations may be made with a check made payable to MCMSA by Feb. 15 and sent to the organization at 565 E. Main St, Suite 220, Canfield 44406 or by calling 330-533-4880.

Arrangements for the fund raiser are being made by co-chairpersons Tammy Engle and Cassie Calderon and committee members Katie Altenhof, Susan Berny, Michelle Duffett, Donna Hayat, Paula Jakubek, Gloria Detesco, Carol Sankovic and Susan Yarab.

The Mahoning County Medical Alliance has a mission to promote the goals of the Mahoning County Medical Society, to inform and support the medical family, and to enhance the quality of life through health education, legislation, and community service.
