Artisans Festival Committee will be registering exhibitors

LEETONIA – The Leetonia Artisans Festival Committee will begin registering exhibitors for the 28th annual Artisans Festival set for Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wick Park. The registration forms will be available for download on April 1 on the homepage to make it easier for vendors to sign up for the annual event.

Last year 92 arts, crafts, antiques and collectible, and food vendors were on hand after the show was moved to the forth Sunday in September, making it one of the best shows in recent years in its history.

Contracts will be available for $40 for a 15×15-foot space for exhibitors and $50 per spot for all food vendors with a state approved food license.

The Leetonia Parks and Recreation Board benefits from the monies raised and uses it for yearly projects at the villages three parks. Spots are assigned on a first come first serve basis after payment is received at Leetonia Village Hall by Randy Chismar, village fiscal officer.

The event offers free admission, parking, and local entertainment and is family friendly. The traditional Harvest Theme makes this annual “homecoming event” popular among area residents. Deadline for the show is July 1 and early entries will receive verification of payments prior to the show.
