Pumpkin Festival is Saturday at fairgrounds

The sixth annual Pumpkin Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds on the upper midway area, using the new RTC Barn for the craft show. Entrance and parking will be through the Vista Drive gate off of state Route 45. The festival features a craft shows, Cheryl Kear, an award winning kite designer, food, pumpkins, a DJ and games for children. On Saturday, there will be a garden tractor pull in front of the grandstands. Sunday entertainment features a classic car show. Twelve trophies plus a best of show will be awarded. There will be door prizes available on Sunday every half hour. Parking and admission are free. (Submitted photo)
