Camp Fire Club members attend youth leadership program

Members of Camp Fire Club 44 recently attended the Youth Leadership Experience (YLE) at Camp Fire headquarters in Kansas City, Mo. Camp Fire youth from across the nation participated in a full-day, once-in-a-lifetime pilot program training that tests “The Leadership Challenge Youth Edition” curriculum and a half-day service learning experience in the Kansas City community. Dr. Barry Posner, an award-winning educator and best-selling author and coauthor of “The Leadership Challenge,” facilitated the pilot. The YLE is the youth track of Camp Fire’s National Leadership Conference which was held at the same time.
