West Point, Lisbon Lions clubs install officers

West Point Lions met with Lisbon Lions on June 25. Both clubs installed its 2014-15 officers. Lisbon provided hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner and West Point served side dishes and desserts. Zone Chairman Wayne Christen installed the new officers: President Marie Amato, First Vice President Violet Mellon, Second Vice Sue Hopton, Third Vice Sandy Shulas, Treasurer Rhonda Farmer, Secretary Nancy Kirkbride, Tail Twister Janice Wylie, Lion Tamer Michele Shafer, Membership Chairs Janis Mundy and Marlene Smith. Directors installed were Pat Klein, Dolly Campbell, Autum Stoll, Jane May, Sandra Gallo and Nola Carman. Inducted new member is Payden Chapman, sponsored by her great-grandmother, Kay Bettis. Lisbon Lions installed two new members. New Lisbon member Jim Landfried is Chapman’s grandfather, which makes three generations of the same family local Lions. Amato presented Outgoing President Pat Tressler and Outgoing Treasurer Shulas with pins.
