Hutton sisters selected to perform in Skate Dance Dream in Dayton

Kelly Hutton, 12, and her sister Rylee Hutton, 8, of Salem have been chosen to skate at the 2014 Skate Dance Dream in Dayton.

The girls will perform skating solos at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Kettering ice arena in Dayton. .

Skate dance dream is an innovative show experience combining figure skating and dance, teaming together stars with the next generation of talent.

“We are very excited to have Kelly and Rylee back to perform in skate dance dream,” said Parker Pennington, Skate Dance Dream executive producer and U.S. figure skating champion at four levels.

“They are great young skaters and performers and look forward to showcasing them alongside the stars in the show spotlights. The crowd will love them. It’s not everyday that you get to see this caliber of talent combined with the future stars of tomorrow. It’s a show that will leave all of us feeling young and inspired”

The show combines some of the world’s top entertainers including dance finalists from the Fox hit show “So You Think You Can Dance?” and U.S. National figure skating champions starring Ryan Bradley, 2011 U.S. men’s national figure skating champion; and Audrey Case, season nine top 10 finalist on “So You Think You Can Dance?”

The show will also feature Sara VonGillern, third season top 10 finalist; 2014 junior world ice dance champions, Kaitlyn Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker; Jessica Miller, Senior Grand Prix medalist in pair skating; and, Wesley Campbell , U.S. National junior bronze medalist.

Kelly is a 6th grader at Salem Southeast School. Rylee is a 3rd grader at Salem Reilly Elementary School. This is their fourth skate dance dream show. They are the daughters of Rob and Deri Hutton of Salem.

Tickets for the show may be purchased at SkateDanceDream.com. Net proceeds to benefit Make-a-Wish of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
