Seats available for the Christmas light tour on Trolley

SALEM — Seats are still available for the Christmas light tour on the Quakertown Trolley at 7 and 8 p.m. today. All tours load at the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce parking lot, located at the Village Green on East State Street. Cost is $3 per adult and $1 for children under 12. For reservations, leave a message at 330-337-6733, your call will be returned.

Washingtonville church plans soup sale Dec. 7

WASHINGTONVILLE — Homemade soup will be sold from 3 to 5 p.m. Dec. 7 at Robbins United Methodist Church. Chicken noodle, potato, ham and bean, vegetable, beef and chili will be available for carryout at $6 per quart.

Medication Assistance representative available

LISBON — A representative from the Medication Assistance Program will be available from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 7 at the First United Methodist Church, 114 E. Washington St. The program is open to anyone who is uninsured or underinsured, regardless of age. Attendees are reminded to bring their medication bottles with them. Help with Medicare Part D problems is also available.

Mile Branch Grange plans drive-thru soup sale

ALLIANCE — Mile Branch Grange at 495 Knox School Road will hold its first monthly drive-thru soup sale from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out Dec. 8. Cost is $6 per quart. Stuffed pepper soup and loaded baked potato soup are available

To reserve soup call 330-821-8023 and leave your name, phone number, type of soup and number of quarts desired. Proceeds will be used to continue community projects, including Alliance Habitat for Humanity, Alliance Community Hospital Prayer Shawl Ministry, A Case for Smiles pillowcases, Project Linus blankets, annual scholarship, Pegasus Farms and the annual community fair.

Christmas Craft Show Set Dec. 10 at Slovak Club
