‘Grecian Gardens’ will be theme of United Local’s prom on Saturday
HANOVERTON - United Local High School will host its annual junior/senior prom Saturday. The theme will be “Grecian Gardens,” sponsored by the junior class.
Masters of ceremonies will be Mike Phillis and Becky Bernet.
The junior class officers are Becky Bernet and Tori Hahlen, co-presidents; Dustin Sanor, vice president; Sydney Marra, secretary; and Molly Briceland and Anna Paterson, co-treasurers. Class advisor is Betty Whiteleather.
The Parade of Fashions will begin at 5 p.m. in the high school gym where last year’s prom king and queen, Alaina Davison and Luke Heestand, will crown the new prom king and queen.
Students nominated to the prom court are as follows:
Molly Briceland will be escorted by Jordan Russell. Molly is the daughter of Jerry and Jodi Briceland. Jordan is the son of Christina Phillips.
Camryn Jarrett will be escorted by Kaden Smith. Camryn is the daughter of Randy Jarrett and Andrea Jarrett. Kaden is the son of Jason and Rochelle Smith.
Sydney Marra will be escorted by Dakota Hill. Sydney is the daughter of Stacy Marra and Justin Marra. Dakota is the son of Robert and Jennifer Hill.
Tori Hahlen will be escorted by Jared DelVichio. Tori is the daughter of Adam and Kelly Hahlen. Jared is the son of Chuck and Susan DelVichio.
Hannah Mix will be escorted by Mitch Kelly. Hannah is the daughter of Steve and Kim Mix. Mitch is the son of Michael and Julee Kelly.
Jenna Martin will be escorted by Cade Wood. Jenna is the daughter of Bryan and Tina Martin. Cade is the son of Chad and Sara Wood.
Cassie Yarwood will be escorted by Tyler Humphrey. Cassie Yarwood is the daughter of Scott Yarwood. Tyler is the son of Mark and Sally Humphrey.
After the Parade of Fashions, the junior/senior class will head to La Pizzeria for dinner and dancing and conclude at the Salem Community Center for the After Prom, which is sponsored by the 2017 Junior Class Parent After Prom Committee.
After the prom participants depart, the junior high will have its “Spring Fling” dance in the high school gym, sponsored by the 2017 Junior Class.
