SALEM — The community tent revival continues at 7 p.m. today at the corner of South Broadway Avenue and Columbia Street. Pastor John Fitch will preach. The public is also invited to the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service to be held under the tent and will include an old-fashioned hymn sing. Pastor Doug George from the First United Methodist Church will deliver the morning message. SALEM — Children ages 4 through sixth grade are invited to experience amazing lessons, crafts, games and snacks with their friends during “Galactic Starveyors” vacation Bible school from 6 to 8 p.m. July 24-26 at the First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave. To register or for more information contact the church at 330-332-0001 or salemfirstfriends.org.

SALEM –The Banquet in Salem will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Building, 785 E. State St. The meal will be sponsored by the Salem Community Foundation. The menu offers stuffed pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas or corn, salad, fresh fruit and vegetables, ice cream sundaes. Additional sponsors are needed. NORTH LIMA — An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. July 29 at the North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive. Items on the buffet will include eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice, etc. Donations will be accepted.
