‘Babies and Such’ yard sale Sept. 23

SALEM — The “Babies and Such” yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Salem Eagles Club, 1884 N. Ellsworth Ave. Items available will include children’s clothing, toys, Pack ‘n Play Playyards, swings, crafts, etc.

Vendor tables are $10 each and may be reserved by contacting Viola Jennings at 330-423-8631 or Becca Davis at 330-277-8023.

Breakfast and lunch foods will be available for purchase including doughnuts and hot dogs.

Vendors, crafters sought for show

WASHINGTONVILLE — Crafters and vendors are needed for the first craft show at the Beaver Creek Sportsman Club, 14480 Washingtonville Road. The craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 7.

Table rentals are $20 per table with a $10 craft donation for the Chinese auction. Tables must be reserved and paid for by Sept. 20. Proceeds from the table rentals and auction will benefit the club and its activities. Checks must be made payable to Regina Groh.

WR Knitters

to meet Tuesday

CANFIELD — The Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Rotary Community Building in Fair Park. Jacquie Thomas will present a program titled “Swatching.” Anyone interested in joining the group or donating yarn for their charity work is asked to contact wrkg.ohio@gmail.com.

Weavers Guild

to host picnic

HOWLAND — Youngstown Area Weavers Guild will host its annual picnic at 10 a.m. Sept. 13 in the large pavilion at Howland Park, 2000 Rosegarden Drive NE, Howland. A brief business meeting and discussion of the year’s programs is scheduled. Attendees are to bring a coverdish and place settings. The beverages and chicken will be provided. May family reunion set for Saturday

SUMMITVILLE – The 24th May family reunion will be held Saturday at the Summitville Fire Hall. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m. The meat and beverages will be furnished. Attendees are reminded to bring a coverdish and item for the white elephant sale.
