Area students among leaders at Youngstown State University

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown State University (YSU) has released the names of students who have accepted essential leadership positions this fall in various groups and organizations across campus. Area students include:

Alliance: Jordan McNeil, creative writing major, president of Student Literary Arts Association and president of Penguin Review.

Columbiana: Joshua DeSalvo, bachelor’s of science in nursing major, president of Campus Christian Fellowship; Spencer Desalvo, civil engineering major, vice president of Campus Christian Fellowship; Nicholas Maxin, mechanical engineering technical A major, vice president of Clay Target Club, vice president of American Society of Civil Engineers.

East Palestine: Cody Cooper, history major, president of History Club, vice president of Phi Alpha Theta, Alpha Gamma Beta Chapter.

East Liverpool: Chandler Hoppel, criminal justice bachelor’s major, vice president of membership recruitment, Panhellenic Council; Dawn Stewart, middle childhood language art science track major, vice president of media/public relations, National Society of Collegiate Scholars; Kasey Badgley, art studio graphic design track major, vice president of IXDA; Miranda Timmins, art education major, president of Youngstown State Art Education Association; Nicholas DiLoreto, civil and construct engineering technology B major, vice president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity; Paige Prologo, biology major, vice President of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Chapter 143.
