4COLUMBIANA — Men of Faith will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. today at Das Dutch Haus. Dave Migliore will speak. Special music will be provided by Dave Render.

4SALEM – A Swiss steak supper will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Concord Presbyterian Church on Route 45. Cost is $11 for adults, $6 for children ages 12 and under and free for 4 and under.

4NORTH LIMA — The Golden Street Singers will be joined by Michael Gardner for a two-hour gospel concert at 6 p.m. today at the Old School Marketplace. There is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be received. The facility at 11836 South Ave. is handicap accessible.

4COLUMBIANA — Approximately 50 nativity sets will be on display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 2 at Zion Hill Church of Columbiana, 14550 New Buffalo Road. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served. This year’s theme is “Jesus — The Gift the World Can’t Live Without.”

4SALEM — The Banquet in Salem will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Building, 785 E. State St. The meal will be served by the Salem Junior and Senior High School staff. The menu offers barbecued chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cole slaw, fresh vegetables and fruit and assorted pies. Additional sponsors are needed. 4NORTH LIMA — An all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet will be available from 7 to 10 a.m. Nov. 25 at the North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive.

Items on the buffet will include eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice, etc. Donations will be accepted. For more information call the church at 330-549-2333.

4YOUNGSTOWN — Catholic Charities, Diocese of Youngstown, will host its second annual Sip and Shop Pop-Up Boutique on “Giving Tuesday,” Nov. 28, at St. Columba Hall.

“Giving Tuesday” refers to the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and kicks off the charitable season when many people focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Free parking is available at the corner of 144 W. Wood St. and 225 Elm St. Signs will be posted.

The Sip and Shop provides an opportunity for guests to create their own hot beverage at a gourmet coffee bar, enjoy fresh and hot homemade soups and jump start their Christmas shopping– all while supporting Catholic Charities and local artisans and vendors. Some items available for purchase include bath and body products, Christmas cookies, holiday decorations, Fair Trade goods, fresh baked goods and handmade bracelets.

All proceeds from this event help to provide emergency assistance– food, shelter, clothing, utility assistance and essential medication– to families served by Catholic Charities’ agencies throughout the Diocese of Youngstown.
