New titles at gift shop
New titles are now available at the Salem Historical Society’s gift shop, 208 S. Broadway Ave. Along with the large volume of Salem resources, among the new books are “Lost Youngstown” regarding the loss of the many industries over the years, “The Ohio State Reformatory” and “Murder and Mayhem on Ohio’s Rails.” Because of the connection with Alan Freed, a Salem resident and leader in the rock and roll era, “Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Roots” is now on the shelf. The gift shop is open from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For more information call 330-337-8514.
