New Year’s Eve Gospel Sing will feature five hours of music at the Old School Marketplace

NORTH LIMA — Five hours of gospel music will ring in the New Year at the 6th annual New Year’s Eve Gospel Sing at the Old School Marketplace Sunday evening.

Eight groups and soloists will take the stage through out the evening, including the regional favorite group, Glory Way Quartet, and national soloist Jerry Garcia from Adrian, Mich.

The event is hosted by the Golden Street Singers of Farmdale. Local soloist Kelly Dunlap will also be singing.

The singing starts at 7 p.m. and will conclude shortly after midnight. There will be fellowship with snacks and attendees will have a chance to win door prizes including a two-night stay at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania.

Also performing will be Michael Gardner of Tallmadge, Cheryl Hardgrove from Canal Fulton, Christine McLean from Carrollton and Bill Wiczen of Akron.
