Reilly students donate money to Trolley Fund
To enhance their social studies economics unit, Kelly Janofa’s third-grade Reilly School students created their own business and made and sold “Furry Friend” pencils. Because the students always look forward to the ride through Salem on the Quakertown Trolley at the end of the year — and they heard there was a Trolley Fund to purchase a replacement — it was decided to donate $200 to the Salem Historical Society’s Trolley Fund. During their recent visit to the museum, they presented Curator David Shivers with a check to the museum.
