LISBON — Wilfred Clunk VFW Post 4111 is holding a grand reopening/fundraiser from noon to midnight Saturday. The free event features a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, beer tent, and food from the grill for $10 per plate. Live entertainment is being provided by Gone Tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and Pure Gold from 8 to 11 p.m.

Clunk’s family is also to be on hand to present the post with his World War II medals, which include a Purple Heart and Silver Star. The proceeds go to helping the VFW recover after more than $100,000 in funds were embezzled in 2015-16, forcing the club to close for six months.
