Matt Watroba to perform Friday

Dulci-More: Folk & Traditional Musicians will host Matt Watroba at 7 p.m. Friday in the meeting room of the Dale Shaffer Research Library of the Salem Historical Society, 239 S. Lundy Ave. Parking is available in the municipal lot across Lundy. The building is handicapped accessible. Admission is $10 with an additional $5 covering all children in a family. Watroba, a veteran performer, teacher, radio host, song writer, community singer, song leader, and educator, was born in Detroit and raised in Plymouth, Mich. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Eastern Michigan University, majoring in English, language and literature with a minor in theater arts and communication. He sings and writes songs of compassion, inner strength, humor and every day living and was awarded “Best Overall Folk Performer” by the Detroit Music Awards.
