Copeland Oaks’ Rev. David Parry honored as outstanding chaplain

SEBRING — Copeland Oaks, an assisted living community, proudly announced that Rev. David Parry was the winner of the 2018 Honoring Excellence in Assisted Living award.

This award is given annually to outstanding employees that demonstrate vision, innovation, leadership and compassion in their role, by the Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA), representing over 530 licensed Assisted Living Communities.

Rev. Parry won the award as Outstanding Chaplain as he represents the values the Ohio Assisted Living Association looks for in Honoring Excellence nominees.

“Rev. David Parry has been at Copeland Oaks for many years. He started young and never wavered from teaching and ministering. He loves all no matter their age. Rev. Parry believes Jesus died for all of our sins. He believes in repentance, grace and mercy. He has given his life to the Lord,” said Dorothy M. (Spack) Hahn, Resident at Copeland Oaks.

Winners of the award are nominated by their community and selected by a committee of the Ohio Assisted Living Association Board of Trustees.
