“Caffeinate and Paint” at Mahoning Career Center

CANFIELD — The creative arts and design students from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center (MCCTC) has partnered with Stone Fruit Coffee to host a “Caffeinate and Paint” from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Joyce Brooks Center at MCCTC. Cost is $40 and includes all paint supplies and beverages. Cosmetology students will provide stress relief services. Space is limited. “Christmas Craze” set at Salem Community Center

SALEM — The third annual “Christmas Craze” will be held from noon to 4 p.n. Saturday at the Salem Community Center, 1098 N Ellsworth Ave. More than 15 vendors will be present including Lula Roe, Origami Owl, Thirty One, Pampered Chef, Young Living, Mary Kay, Premier Designs Jewelry, SeneGence, Deer Path Home Decor and Gifts, Perfectly Posh, With Grace Candle Co., Dar’s Creations, Hooday Printing LLC., Touch of a Button, Innovative Nutrition, Soul Sisters and Jamby Styles.

St. Paul LCBA Christmas party planned Thursday

SALEM — Salem Loyal Christian Benefit Association Branch 654 of St. Paul Catholic Church will hold its annual Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul Parish Rectory Meeting Room. The traditional Christmas ornament exchange will be held and refreshments will be served. Members are asked to bring $5 gas cards for Sophia Center. It is suggested that they be purchased at the Marathon Gas Station across from Sophia Center. All members and guests are welcome.

Salem 1959 invited for soup, salad Saturday

SALEM — Members of the Salem High School Class of 1959 are invited to a soup and salad luncheon at noon Saturday at the home of Gary and Mary Lou Hartzell, 1212 Southridge Drive. Attendees are reminded to bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

Food distributions planned in Columbiana

COLUMBIANA — Oasis Food Ministry will hold a food distribution from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 6 and 13 at the First Christian Church, 39 Cherry St. This is a change in the date pattern to accommodate the Christmas holiday. Ages 60 or older may come from 10 to 11 a.m. Dec. 13.

Cookie walk set at Bunker Hill United Methodist Church

SALEM — The “Cookies to Go!” cookie walk will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Bunker Hill United Methodist Church, 15096 W. Middletown Road. A variety of cookies will be available at $5 per dozen.

Shopping event planned at SRMC Look Nook

SALEM — Salem Regional Medical Center’s Look Nook Gift Shop is hosting a “12 Days of Christmas” shopping event. Special holiday gift items will be offered and each day’s featured gift idea can be purchased that day only at 25 percent off. The public is welcome from Dec.7 -20 during the Look Nook’s regular hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The gift shop is located on the ground floor concourse of the hospital at 1995 E. State St.
