Help for cancer survivor

The Queen of Hearts drawing at Adele’s Place for $51,913 went unclaimed when Gretchen Conway of Wellsville was the owner of the ticket with number 8 on it that matched the three of diamonds on Thursday. The 50/50 drawing was won by Daryl Kaurich of Beloit who won $937.50 of the $1,875 jackpot. The remaining half of the 50/50 drawing was donated to the Tadd and Emily Stout family of Salem. Adele Lake presented the family with a check for the other half of Thursday’s 50/50 drawing for $937.50 to help defray travel expenses back and forth from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where Tadd had liver cancer surgery on Nov. 8.
