Capriculturists hold meeting

The Capriculturists 4-H Club met on Jan. 28 at the Greenford Ruritan Building. President Cherokee Mellott called the meeting to order. Eighteen members answered roll call conducted by Secretary Molly St. John. They answered with how many years they had been in 4H. Katie Downs led the Pledge of Allegiance and Auron Reid led the 4H Pledge. John James introduced the advisors: Kim Moff, Kim Smith, April Mellott, William Mellott and Joe Fagnano. Meeting dates and enrollment paperwork were reviewed. Vice President Ashley James assigned health and safety reports and demonstrations for next meeting which begins at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 at the same place. The club began the year with a service project. The youth and their parents worked together to make 60 Valentine’s Day cards. The cards will be distributed to residents of Masternick Memorial Health Care Center in New Middletown.
