Making a Difference at West Branch Middle School

The Make a Difference Club at West Branch Middle School recently made and delivered 600 cups of hot cocoa to staff and students throughout the building. The 36 students in grades five to eight that comprise the club enjoyed doing something nice for others. The group worked together either filling cups, putting lids on, stirring hot chocolate, filling the carts and delivering to classrooms. The Make a Difference Club was formed to create a fun, positive school environment, whose number one goal is to make a difference in someone’s life. “Our students did a fantastic job working together on this project, and our teachers and staff loved it,” said club advisor Kimberly Knowles. The club will also be doing activities for the school to celebrate Valentine’s Day and Easter.
