DAMASCUS — Damascus United Methodist Church and Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church will host a monthly community breakfast from 7 to 10:30 a.m. today at the Damascus Church, 300 Valley Road. The breakfast features all-you-can-eat, made-to-order pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, juice and coffee. Suggested donation is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10 years. The breakfast proceeds will benefit the upcoming 2019 Summer Mission Trip to Cluster 13 Ministries in Camden, N.Y.

SALEM — Columbiana Presbyterian Church will sponsor The Banquet in Salem from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Building. The menu will include chicken noodle soup, pork loin, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, applesauce, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and ice cream. COLUMBIANA — Licensed professional clinical counselor Judy Shields will be leading a Christian group for relieving stress and anxiety in everyday life. The group will be held at the Way Station in Columbiana on Rt. 14 beginning March 25. This six-session group will include prayer, meditation, mindfulness and as other resources for healing mind and body. NEW GARDEN — The New Garden United Methodist Church will be hosting its annual spring rummage sale at the church, 7165 SR 9 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 26 and from 9 a.m.-noon and April 27 and May 1. The Saturday sales will feature $4 bag day. There will be a bake sale and lunch available for purchase on Friday including homemade soups, pies, sandwiches, pop and coffee. NORTH LIMA — A pasta bake dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St. The meal includes a salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Carryouts will be available. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for ages 6 to 12. For more information call 330-549-2406.

CANFIELD — Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will be hosting Lenten breakfasts Wednesday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. from March 6-April 17. The church is on the Village Green next to the Oddfellows Lodge. Meals are free. Free will donations are accepted.

SALEM –The First United Methodist Church will hold its free clothing pantry from 10 a.m. to noon the first Saturday and fourth Thursday of each month. There are many styles, sizes and colors for men, women and children at no cost.

LEETONIA — Leetonia First United Methodist Church at 50 Lisbon Street will hold its monthly drive by chicken dinner 4-6 or until sold out Thursday. The meal includes mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffed chicken breast, green beans and a brownie. To reserve a dinner, call 330-427-6856 between 2-4 p.m. Give your name and number, how many dinners you want held back and time that you are planning to pick them up.

NORTH LIMA — Chalk artist and ventriloquist Rod Snow will be at the North Lima Mennonite Church at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 24. The program is for all ages and open to the public. A free will offering will be taken. For information, call the church at 330-549-2333.

NORTH LIMA — A breakfast buffet will be served from 7-10 a.m. Saturday, March 30 at the North Lima Mennonite Church. 90 Mennonite Drive. For a donation, those attendings can enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast including eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade pastries, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice and other beverages.
