Melnick earns degree from Cedarville University
CEDARVILLE– Abraham Melnick, of Salem, graduated from Cedarville University with a bachelor’s of science in mechanical engineering in mech engineering degree during the 123rd annual commencement held May 4.
Goodchild performs in spring piano recital
FINDLAY– Kasey Goodchild, of Salem, recently performed in a spring piano recital at the University of Findlay.
Goodchild performed “Avalanche, Op. 45, No. 2” by S. Heller.
Dean completes Emerging Leaders Program
YOUNGSTOWN– Youngstown State University student Alisha Dean completed the requirements for the Emerging Leaders Program.
The program is designed to strengthen student leadership, knowledge and skills.
Students who complete the program receive a special leadership designation on their transcripts.
Dean, STEM First Year Engineering major from Columbiana was recognized at the annual Student Awards Banquet at YSU.
Emerson earns Spirit Award at YSU
YOUNGSTOWN– Tess Emerson, Undeclared CLASS major from Leetonia, received the Student Government Association Spirit Award from Youngstown State University.
The award is presented by the YSU Student Government Association: For Outstanding Enthusiasm for the Work of the Student Government Association.
Awards were presented at Student Awards Banquet, sponsored by YSU Student Government, Student Experience and Student Activities.
A variety of awards and scholarships were distributed during the annual awards event.
