Crawl for cupcakes slated this Saturday in Lisbon
LISBON–The Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual Cupcake Crawl on Saturday, giving participants a chance to taste the region’s best pastries while exploring the village’s historical downtown. Twenty businesses or organizations will have cupcake stations, all of which are within easy walking distance of each other. For a $5 donation, you can stop at any or all cupcake stations. Tickets will be sold Saturday near the gazebo on village square. The crawl runs from 2 to 5 p.m. The crawl will also feature live music by Mike Webb at the gazebo, a petting zoo, and games and special events for children. The VFW will also offer games for children and the Methodist Church will be hosting crafts. Alterations by the Clothing Surgeon will be offering kids a chance to decorate free tote bags, beach balls and other items with cupcake decals. Among those participating are Dashing Divas, Stage Left Players and Farmers National Bank. For more information, contact the chamber office at 330-424-1803.
