Local students on Slippery Rock dean’s list

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Slippery Rock University has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester. The dean’s list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

The following are SRU students from your coverage area who made the dean’s list:

Garofalo earns Marietta College dean’s list recognition

MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College’s Hannah Garofalo of Leetonia has been named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List.

Any full-time Marietta College student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.74 is recognized as a Dean’s List student for that semester.

Garofalo is a member of the Class of 2021, and is majoring in Marketing. Garofalo is also a graduate of Columbiana High School.

Area students receive degrees from Grove City College

GROVE CITY, Pa.– The following local residents were among the 511 students who received degrees during the Commencement exercises at Grove City College on May 18:

Goss named to Grove City College dean’s list

GROVE CITY, Pa.– Tobin Goss, an accounting major at Grove City College, has been named to the dean’s list with distinction for the spring Goss is a 2015 graduate of Crestview High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian (Brenda) Goss from New Waterford.

Students eligible for the dean’s list with distinction must have a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84.
