WARREN–The Western Reserve Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will meet at noon July 9 at Leo’s Restaurant, 7042 E. Martket St., Warren. Lunch and registration is from 11:30 a.m. to noon with the presentation by Megan Bennett and Andrew Cleves of Frantz Ward from noon to 1 p.m.

Sponsored by VING, the presentation will discuss various types of contracts employers may enter into with their employees, potential employees and/or former employees, including, but not limited to, arbitration agreements, non-compete agreements and other employment-related agreements. The presentation will address the potential benefits and risks of using such contracts, elements of an enforceable agreement and recent case law updates.

The program is pending approval for one hour of general recertification credit.
