LISBON In Columbiana County Municipal Court Friday, Alpino B. Raneri Jr., 33, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $100 and had his driver’s license suspended 180 days for drug paraphernalia.

Derrell F. Angle, 50, state Route 164, Lisbon, was fined $200 and placed on two years basic probation for persistent disorderly conduct.

Korie Ball, 22, West Middletown Road, Salem, was fined $150 and had his driver’s license suspended 180 days for drug paraphernalia.

Mindy F. Hale, 36, Garfield Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $200, placed on two years intensive probation and ordered to perform 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Jerad James Chestnut, 23, McCallister Road, Lisbon, was fined $230, placed on two years probation and ordered to perform 30 hours community service for driving under suspension, speeding and expired plates.

Brandon J. Simonic, 20, Pittsburgh, Pa., OVI, stop sign, failure to control and seat belt case dismissed.

Lisa E. Beadnell, 34, U.S. 30, Minerva, was fined $45 for speeding.

Jeffery J. Cox, 30, Andrew Avenue, Salem, was fined $500, sentenced 15 days jail, placed on two years intensive probation and ordered to perform 50 hours community service for fictitious plates and no operator’s license.

Larry M. Landsberger, 43, Depot Road, Salem, was fined $150 and given credit for 10 days served, placed on one year intensive probation and ordered to perform 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct.

Tom Henry, Shady Lane, Lisbon, was fined $50 for two counts of dogs at large.

Margaret L. Kean, 53, Depot Road, Salem, was fined $150, sentenced 10 days jail, place on one year intensive probation and ordered to perform 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct.

Chad E. Brewer, 30, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, domestic violence case bound over to court of common pleas.

Larry G. Evans, 42, Lisbon Canfield Road, Leetonia, was fined $800, sentenced 10 days jail and had his driver’s license suspended three years for two counts falsification, carry concealed weapon and failure to comply.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Roger Williams Jr., 58, Depot Road, Salem, charged with speeding.

A May 14 pretrial was set for Michael A. Kane, 23, Pearl Street, Leetonia, charged with speeding.

An April 30 pretrial waste for Michael S. Fowler, 41, state Route 517, Lisbon, charged with failure to control.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Kande Yattassaye, 27, Parma, charged with failure to control.

An April 1 risk assessment was set for Adam L. Lodge, 21, Aetna Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business and drug abuse. A May 2 review hearing was set for assault charge.

An April 16 pretrial was set for Cathy L. Curfman, 57, Hawk Road, East Rochester, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A May 2 pretrial was set for Cody W. Landsberger, 19, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, charged with hit skip and assured clear distance.

MUNICIPAL

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday, an April 4 preliminary hearing was set for Christopher P. Jennings Jr., 19, West Middletown Road, Salem, charged with possession of drugs for allegedly having two clear pill capsules with white powdery residue which tested positive for methylenedioxymethcathinone, along with other items which tested positive for marijuana.

James F. Rogers, 51, Woodville Road, Leetonia, was fined $1,225, sentenced to 75 days in jail and had his license suspended for two years for OVI first offense, failure to reinstate a license and failure to display a valid sticker.

Adam J. Blackwood, 23, West Calla Road, Salem, was fined $725, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to 20 days in jail and required 50 hours community service for failure to control and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Shaylynn R. Hertel, 23, Major Road, Minerva, was fined $705, had his license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to 20 days in jail for OVI first offense and marked lanes.

Jordan L. Smeltzer, 26, Depot Road, Lisbon, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct while intoxicated. Court documents state Smelters cut Lori Anderson off in traffic on two occasions. Both times he exited his vehicle, approached her car and yelled at her to get out. He also followed her up a driveway at a Depot Road address, approaching the side of her vehicle and pounding on the window while yelling obscenities at her.

Mathew V. Tomsha, 62, Benton Road, Salem, was fined $350 and required 30 hours community service for hit skip and failure to control.

Denise K. McQuiston, 49, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, was fined $250 for driving under suspension amended from driving under OVI suspension.

Heather R. Moore, 39, U.S. Route 30, Minerva, was fined $200 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana and open container.

Donald E. White, 56, Mattix Road, Lisbon, was fined $200 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Cade A. Neiser, 18, West Calla Road, Salem, was fined $180 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and failure to control.

Daniel K. Duncan, 34, Haiti Road, Salineville, was fined $150, credited with three days served in jail and required 10 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. A criminal damaging charge and three additional counts of domestic violence were dismissed. Duncan was accused of becoming angry with his family, assaulting them and breaking electronic devices in the house while intoxicated on Dec. 8.

Michele Hahn, 41, last known address East Sixth Street, Salem, was fined $150 for abandoning an animal amended from prohibitions concerning companion animals after leaving three cats and a turtle inside a home when she moved away.

Mandy R. Bowyer, 23, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 and sentenced to one day in jail for theft for taking a gold and diamond engagement ring from the home of Joy Dunlap, West Clark Street, on Dec. 29.

Johnathan A. Easton, 42, Glenview Drive, Canfield, was fined $150 for speeding.

Edward Cline Jr., 40, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $130 for no license, reckless operation and left of center.

Allen W. Lippiatt, 27, Youngstown, was fined $100 for one way traffic. A driving with a temporary permit without a licensed driver citation was dismissed.

An April 1 pretrial was set for Forest T. Davis Jr., 25, Peace Valley Road, East Palestine, charged with assault for alleged actions toward one of his caregivers.

An April 1 pretrial was set for Andrew H. Hunley, 37, state Route 558, Leetonia, charged with criminal mischief and domestic violence. Court documents allege Hunley kicked the screen out of a big screen television, punched several holes in the plastered walls and threatened to break the skull of Jessica Jewell, the mother of his children.

An April 4 pretrial was set for Nicole E. Gamble, 26, North Lima, charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching her ex-boyfriend Dominic D. Stacey in the mouth, followed by several other punches and the breaking of a necklace he was wearing while he was at the Way Station, Springfield Road, Columbiana.

An April 8 pretrial was set for Nicole M. Hague, 40, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, charged with cruelty to animals and abandoning animals for allegedly dropping an unwanted dog inside a fenced area at another person’s home.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Delores Brown, 47, Williamsport, Pa., cited with speeding.

A May 6 pretrial was set for Lynn A. Brown, 53, Washington Street, Washingtonville, charged with OVI first offense and marked lanes.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, an April 1 preliminary hearing was set for Justin R. Coblentz, 19, Columbia Street, Salem, charged with burglary for allegedly going into his grandparents’ home on Bowman Road, Homeworth, and taking a vacuum.

Nicholas C. Guido, 27, High Street, Salineville, was bound over to the grand jury on an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge. Court documents allege he took a vehicle from the B and K Gas Station in Salineville on Feb. 20.

James E. Artrup Jr., 24, Mudbridge Road, Enon Valley, Pa., was fined $300 and required 40 hours community service for no license, loud exhaust and driving under suspension.

Jason Furbee, 30, Peace Valley Road, New Waterford, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Kyle Z. Temple, 19, North Market Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from assured clear distance.

Ashraf A. Isaac, 39, Warren, was fined $150 for speeding.

Clifford W. Poynter Jr., Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $100 and credited with 11 days served for domestic violence for choking and punching his live-in girlfriend on Dec. 27.

A pretrial also set on the same date for Prendes, who has previous citations for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Jennell E. Bolton, 31, Depot Street, Rogers, cited with driving under FRA suspension and a tail lights violation.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Kandyce L. Florie, 18, Sue Drive, Lisbon, cited with speeding.

An April 30 pretrial was set for Edward D. Fisher, 60, state Route 517, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense.

A May 13 pretrial was set for Mandy Jo Metzgar, 30, Yates Road, Salem, cited with permitting underage consumption for allegedly, while working at the Flying Pig Saloon in Salem, selling a beer to a 19-year-old confidential informant.

A May 28 pretrial was set for Gary Mason Jr., 38, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with assault and criminal mischief. Court documents allege Mason went into his home at 9:47 a.m. July 21, finding Richard Powell sleeping on the couch and punched Powell in the side of the head. Additionally, he allegedly entered several vehicles in the early morning hours of Jan. 16, while walking to get coffee at Rich Oil.

MUNICIPAL

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday, a March 28 preliminary hearing was set for Randy J. Callehan, 22, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with breaking and entering. Sheriff’s deputies reportedly tracked Callehan down by following broken beer bottles from the broken window at the American Legion in Salineville on Tuesday.

Bennie R. Lewis, 30, Youngstown, was fined $130 for speeding and driving without a valid license amended from driving in violation of a driving restriction.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Adam L. Lodge, 21, Aetna Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business and drug abuse. Salem police allege Lodge ran from them and was found with suspected marijuana and a pipe in his pocket after he was caught.

An April 2 pretrial was set for John A. Stoffer, South Broadway, Salem, cited with driving under suspension, a seat belt violation and possession of drug abuse instruments. Court documents allege he had a crack pipe in his pocket, which he voluntarily gave to Perry Township police.

An April 16 pretrial was set for Lauren R. Pearson, 28, Commerce Street, Wellsville, cited with OVI second offense, failure to display a valid sticker and a seat belt violation.

An April 18 pretrial was set for Andrea T. McFarland, 27, Grant Street, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension and two counts of drug paraphernalia. Court documents allege McFarland had a crack pipe with a metal filter and a spoon with white residue on the top and burned on the bottom.

An April 18 pretrial was set for Brandon M. Huff, 18, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with attempted breaking and entering. Court documents claim on Sunday Huff allegedly threw and asphalt pieces and broke the front window of Cheap Tobacco in Salem before fleeing eastbound.

An April 18 pretrial was set for Ryan Oliver, 33, Commerce Street, Wellsville, cited with driving under suspension and tail lights.

An April 23 pretrial was set for Charles E. Weyand Jr., 37, West Pershing Street, Salem, cited with driving under a 12-point suspension and possession of marijuana for a baggie of marijuana and roaches.

An April 25 pretrial was set for Dawna E. Weyman, 55, South Main Street, Columbiana, charged with menacing for allegedly threatening to “burn this place down” after she received an eviction notice.

MUNICIPAL

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday a charge of violating a temporary protection order against Joseph R. Gross, 42, Garfield Avenue, East Palestine, was dismissed. He had been charged after he showed up at the scene of a crash, when his wife, whom there was an order forbidding him from being near called him to pick up the children.

Russell D. Lightner, 33, Foundry Hill Road, Salineville, was fined $950, had his license suspended for six months and was sentenced to six days in jail for OVI first offense, driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

Nichole L. Phillips, 19, Lincoln Street, Salem, was fined $705, had her license suspended for six month, was required to perform 30 hours of community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and a traffic control device violation.

William J. Martin, 40, Clarks Mill Road, Hammondsville, was fined $200, sentenced to three days in jail and required 50 hours community service for driving under a 12-point suspension.

Erica L. Thomas, 34, Elkton Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 and required 40 hours community service for hit skip on private property. An improper passing citation was dismissed.

Jason C. Sorrentino, 28, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and required 40 hours community service for receiving stolen property for having a bicycle in his possession after it was reported stolen.

Kenneth J. Boso, 38, Yeager Road, East Liverpool, was fined $130 for speeding and no license amended from driving under suspension.

Bennie L. Funderburg Jr., East Third Street, Salem, was fined $100 for lighted lights required amended from failure to control.

Casey J. Smith, 30, Toronto, was fined $100 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Miquel G. Moreno, 30, Ellwood City, Pa., was fined $150 and had his license suspended for six months for drug abuse for a marijuana joint.

Jonathan J. Hutchens, 37, Wadsworth, was fined $100 for commercial speeding.

An April 2 pretrial was set for Courtney L. Cook, 19, 14th Street, Wellsville, cited with driving under suspension, lane violation and a seat belt violation.

An April 4 pretrial was set for Timothy W. Good, 19, Kirk Road, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense and traffic control devices.

An April 16 pretrial was set for Chase Murphy Grogg, 22, South Main Street, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.

An April 23 pretrial was set for Jack J. Marshall II, 45, West Salem Street, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense and traffic control devices.

A May 23 pretrial was set for Brian R. Fetty Jr., 31, Girard, cited with driving under suspension.

MUNICIPAL

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, a Salem couple were both pleaded to domestic violence incidents against each other.

Roxeen L. Parrish, 28, Washington Avenue, Salem, was fined $250, given credit for 14 days already served and required 40 hours community service for domestic violence and disorderly conduct. Court documents show Parrish was in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend Travis Jeffery and then was uncooperative with police and staff at Salem Community Hospital on March 8. She was ordered to have no further contact with Jeffery. Two other domestic violence charges involving Jeffery from February and January, which had been filed against Parrish were dismissed.

Travis Jeffery, 33, Washington Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and credited with 14 days in jail already served while ordered to serve another six days for domestic violence and disorderly conduct. Jeffery was further ordered to have no further contact with Roxeen Parrish, the girlfriend court documents claim he struck in the head on March 8. Additionally, court documents state Jeffery threw a pumpkin at Parrish on Nov. 33 and struck her in the side of her face leaving pumpkin seeds on her neck and in her ear.

Daniel S. Bussard, 35, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was bound over to the grand jury on a domestic violence charge for allegedly breaking his hand by repeated striking his wife on March 9.

A March 25 preliminary hearing was set for Nicholas C. Guido, 27, New Kensington, Pa., charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Court documents alleged Guido took a vehicle parked at the B and K Gas Station in Salineville on Feb. 20. Additionally, pretrial was set on the same date on two counts of drug paraphernalia for an alleged cocaine glass pipe and needle found under the passenger seat of the vehicle he was riding in on March 16 in Lisbon.

A March 25 preliminary hearing was set for Christopher L. Miller, 35, Freeman Road, Lisbon, charged with receiving stolen property allegedly for a license plate on the vehicle he was driving on Sunday. Additionally, a pretrial was set for the same date for Miller on charges of falsification for allegedly giving police his brother’s information, possession of drug abuse instrument for a needle and driving under OVI suspension.

William H. Hutchins Jr., 23, Midland, Pa., was fined $1,175, had his license suspended for 12 months, was sentenced to 20 days in jail and required 50 hours community service for furnishing false information, driving under suspension and OVI second offense amended from OVI third offense. A speeding charge was dismissed.

Maurice Brown, 22, Cleveland, was fined $150 and had his license suspended for six months for drug abuse for marijuana.

Leonard B. Lowder, 39, Canton, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Harold W. Michaels, 39, Warren, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

A March 25 pretrial was set for Kari A. Stahl, 21, South Union Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly kicking her boyfriend, Joseph Bumgardner in the face, struck him and threw a pan of macaroni and cheese throughout the kitchen.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Heather R. Moore, 39, U.S. Route 30, Minerva, cited with OVI second offense, marked lanes, open container and possession or use of a controlled substance.

An April 1 pretrial was set for Martha M. Kennedy, 60, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and lane violations.

An April 11 pretrial was set for Brad K. Pittman, 35, last known address Vine Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly making six withdrawals each for $62.25 from the ATM at Kendrick’s Corner from the account of Bonnie Tullis using a debit card which had been stolen from her home.

An April 16 pretrial was set for Ashley M. Vanderhoff, 23, Cherry Street, Salem, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly attempting to sell copper at Downtown Metals, which her boyfriend allegedly took form his employer.

An April 16 pretrial was set for Jordan M. Smith, 26, Center Road, Alliance, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Leslie L. McCammon, 31, Center Avenue, Alliance, cited with OVI first offense, driving under suspension, failure to control and obstructing official business.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Anthony C. Weber, 22, state Route 517, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense, reckless operation, lane violations, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

An April 23 pretrial was set for Sherrie L. Rudder, 37, Aten Avenue, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting her husband on Sunday.

An April 25 pretrial was set for John Fredrick Koch, 56, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly grabbing a nearby shotgun when Columbiana police ordered him to step away from it. Additionally, when he did drop the gun, he continued to resist attempts to place him in handcuffs and was tased by Chief Gladis.

An April 29 pretrial was set for Laura Battaglia, 41, High Street, Salineville, charged with driving under suspension, failure to have a functioning brake light and drug paraphernalia for alleged glass pipe for crack and needles found in her vehicle. She was fined $180 and required 50 hours community service for a no license and speeding citation.

An April 29 pretrial was set for Alyssha M. Hoberek, 24, state Route 267, East Liverpool, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly deliberately running into another vehicle on Pine Hollow Road.

A May 2 pretrial was set for Michael Gary Snyder III, 19, Austintown, cited with driving under FRA suspension.

A May 13 pretrial was set for Steven W. Watters II, 34, Depot Street, Rogers, cited with driving under suspension and speeding.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Friday, Teresa S. Cassinger, 35, East Fourth Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for assault for scratching, biting and pulling the hair of Denver Stonestreet on the front porch of her home.

Theodore D. McQueen, 33, Cleveland, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and improper turn.

Dale E. Dennison, 22, McCracken Road, Salem, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

A May 7 pretrial was set for Virginia S. Beadnell, 48, Fink Road, Kensington, cited with speeding.

A May 28 pretrial was set for Maurice Brooks, 26, Youngstown, charged with obstructing official business and drug paraphernalia for a scale police allegedly found following a foot chase.

A July 9 diversion hearing was set for Robert B. Cruz, 20, Fair Avenue, Salem, and Tom J. Cruz, 19, Columbia Street, Leetonia, who pleaded guilty to underage consumption and have been sentenced to 180 days in jail, a $1,000 fine, ordered to attend alcohol counseling and required 30 hours community service.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday Jeffrey D. Nulf, 46, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $1,200, had his license suspended for two years, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for OVI third offense, no motorcycle endorsement, failure to control.Charges of reckless operation and traffic control devices were dismissed.

Jacob D. Keenan, 21, Quay Road, Negley, was fined $400 and sentenced to six days in jail for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after sheriff’s deputies found him walking on the roadway intoxicated on March 10.

Dennis D.J. Caldwell, 24, Poplar Street, East Liverpool, was fined $400, had his license suspended for nine months, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to six days in jail for OVI second offense.

Christopher T. Anderson, 24, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from assault for the way he handled a mentally challenged and highly autistic client at the New Leaf Residential Services.

Albert L. Baker, 37, last known address Gavers Road, Hanoverton, was fined $250 and credited with two days in jail already served for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for pulling his daughter’s hair on Nov. 12 and punching her in the face on Nov. 3.

Aaron Ryan Kramer, 23, Youngstown, was fined $250 and sentenced to two additional days in jail for driving under suspension.

Michael C. Robb, 31, South Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 for violating a temporary protection order for going to a home of a person he had been ordered to stay away from and allegedly forcing sexual relations with her on Jan. 8.

Stephanie A. Coman, 31, New England Square, New Waterford, was fined $50 and required 10 hours of community service for driving under suspension and traffic control devices.

An April 2 pretrial was set for John Taylor, 42, Walnut Street, Salem, cited with failure to reinstate a license.

An April 9 pretrial was set for Austin Chase Clark, 20, Youngstown, cited with driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

An April 11 pretrial was set for Thomas O. Binion, 40, Mineral Ridge, cited with possession of marijuana.

A May 13 pretrial was set for Devan A. McCallister, 18, Charlton Drive, Lisbon, cited with underage consumption.

A June 6 pretrial was set for Kathleen Anne Norwood, 52, West Seventh Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking her husband multiple times in the head and ripping his clothes.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court this week, Kristopher A. Dean, 18, West Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $1,575, sentenced to 180 days in jail and had his license suspended for 540 days for OVI second offense, driving under suspension, underage consumption and possession of K2 spice.

Jonathan M. Pipkins, 26, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $925, had his license suspended for a year and was sentenced to 180 days in jail for speeding and OVI second offense amended from third offense.

Kourtney D. L. Wright, 21, Railroad Street, Alliance, was fined $1,125, had her license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to one day in jail with three additional days in school for OVI first offense, driving under suspension, failure to control and possession of marijuana.

Laura D. Mason, 40, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $900, had her license suspended for one year, sentenced to a three day jail sentence and 50 hours community service for a tail lights violation and OVI first offense amended from second offense.

Karen Sue Baker, 60, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, was fined $735, had her license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to 20 days in the county jail for OVI first offense, marked lanes and a failure to signal violation.

Heather L. Hickman, 22, Sidehill Road, East Liverpool, was fined $705, had her license suspended for six months, required 15 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense, failure to control and a seat belt violation.

Paul D. Cline, 42, Canton, was fined $330, had his license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to three days in jail for leaving the scene of an accident, no license and failure to yield.

Malakia Z. Hilton, was fined $275 and required 25 hours community service for speeding and disorderly conduct amended from improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle for a Glock handgun on the front seat with a loaded magazine in the center console.

Scott Allen Wetzel Jr., 19, Malone Road, Salineville, was fined $275 and required 60 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension, a stop sign violation and disorderly conduct amended from drug paraphernalia for an alleged glass smoking pipe.

Deborah Ramsey, 50, Hanna Drive, Hanoverton, was fined $250 and credited with one days served in jail for persistant disorderly conduct for being extremely intoxicated and belligerent with with her boyfriend and police, who were trying to calm her down.

Lee N. Givens, 26, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Cody T. Mickey, 21, Roberts Road, Leetonia, was fined $150 for failure to control. An OVI charge was dismissed on a motion of the prosecutor’s office due to evidentiary issues.

Shawn R. Williams, 35, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail for prohibitions concerning companion animals after he allegedly neglected a dog by allowing it to lay in the yard with open bite wounds and festering with maggots for more than a day.

Rolando Villegas, 35, Youngstown, was fined $100 for bad check for a $277 check written to West Point Truck Center in April 2009.

Chad R. Anderson, 21, Spillway Road, Lisbon, was fined $100 for driving under FRA suspension.

Brenda L. Stockman, 43, East Woodland Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $100 for speeding.

Adam James Sevek, Clarks Mill Road, Salineville, was fined $100 for speeding.

A failure to control citation against Deon Costanzo, 54, Front Street, New Waterford, was dismissed.

A failure to appear or unpaid fine suspension citation was dismissed against Megan L. Corfee, 23, East Taggart Street, East Palestine, due to a Bureau of Motor Vehicles error.

MUNICIPAL

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday a March 18 preliminary hearing was set for Daniel S. Bussard, 35, West Main Street, Washingtonville, charged with domestic violence. According to court documents, Bussard attempted to harm his wife, leaving lumps on her forehead, a lump above her left ear and a bite mark on her arm. Additionally, he allegedly had a broken hand and marks on his neck from striking his wife on Saturday.

Jerry Metze, 65, Park Avenue, New Waterford, pleaded no contest to attempted sexual imposition. Sentencing is set for April 1. According to court documents, on Friday Metze attempted to engage in sexual activity with a woman, pinning her arms back by her wrists, kissing her on the face and neck, attempting to get her to touch parts of his body, grabbing her again after she got away and sliding his hand up the back of her shirt.

Stephen T. Vishak, 19, last known address Columbia Street, Salem, pleaded no contest to assault and violating a temporary protection order for knocking a boy to the ground and punching him several times on Jan. 26. At the time of the assault, the boy was there with a girl, who Vishak has been ordered to stay away from. Sentencing is set for March 26.

Larry G. Evans, 42, Lisbon Canfield Road, Leetonia, was fined $1,030, had his license suspended for three years and was sentenced to 180 days starting immediately for failure to comply and a seat belt violation. Court documents state Evans fled from a highway patrol trooper onto Mattix Road and Steubenville Pike Road before pulling into a private driveway and running into a wooded area on Nov. 5.

Additionally a March 28 pretrial was set for Evans, who is also charged with driving under FRA suspension, falsification, carrying a concealed weapon and disobeying a police order. Evans is accused of giving Washingtonville police a false name and social security number to avoid a warrant in 2005, running from East Palestine police in 2005 and leaving a knife in his car at that time.

Steven D. Adams, 51, East State Street, Salem, was fined $925, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for six months and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and speeding.

David L. Spencer Jr., 26 Kibler Road, New Waterford, was fined $750, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and traffic control devices citation.

Gabriel Jacobs, 21, Washington School Road, New Cumberland, W.Va., was fined $735, had his license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to 20 days in jail for OVI first offense, seat belt violation and failure to control.

Michael J. Perline, 37, Cortland, was fined $705, sentenced to 20 days in jail and had his license suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense and failure to control.

Joseph R. Kee, 24, Gilson Road, Salem, was fined $700, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to 20 days in jail and required 50 hours community service for OVI first offense and traffic control devices.

Daniel L. Benton, 37, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $400 and required 30 hours community service for assault amended from domestic violence and no license amended from driving under suspension. Benton was accused of pushing his wife onto the bed and punching her three or four times.

Eric D. White, 19, Winona Road, Salem, was fined $400 and required 40 hours community service for underage consumption.

Michael E. Neeld, 25, West Main Street, New Waterford, was fined $200, sentenced to 34 remaining days in jail and required 60 hours community service for theft and failure to yield. According to court documents, Neeld entered the site of a cell phone tower and cut copper ground wires from the location before selling them to a scrap yard in Youngstown.

Crystal A. Kind, 21, West 16th Street, Salem, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from failure to control.

Michael L. Mick, 56, Fairview, W.Va., was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from commercial speed.

Craig Minor, 20, West Ely Street, Alliance, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession. Court documents claim Minor had less than 200 grams of marijuana at the Foxes Den in Salem.

William Tomlin, 19, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 1800 days for marijuana paraphernalia for an orange pipe in his car.

Shanna E. Gilbert, 22, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Robert McNeely, 35, state Route 172, East Rochester, was fined $50 for unauthorized plates and failure to display a valid sticker. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.

A possession of a controlled substance charge against Joseph M. Blake, 21, Foulks Drive, East Liverpool, was dismissed on a motion of the state. Blake had been accused of having both a marijuana roach and a baggie of suspected crack cocaine in his pocket on March 4.

A drug abuse charge against Michelle Peuterbaugh, 39, state Route 9, Hanoverton, was dismissed. Peuterbaugh allegedly had Oxycodone, which she told a sheriff’s deputy about when she was stopped on a warrant on Jan. 26. The charge was refiled as a possession of a dangerous drug charge and combined with another case where she faces charges of drug paraphernalia and two other counts of possession of dangerous drug for alleged Gabapentin and Promethazine Hydrochloride.

A driving under suspension charge was dismissed against Timothy F. Boafor, 32, Youngstown.

A March 14 pretrial was set for Jacob D. A March 18 pretrial was set for Travis Jeffery, 33, Washington Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence after allegedly striking his girlfriend, Roxanne Parrish, in the head on Friday at their home.

An April 15 pretrial was set for Jeffery D. Matthew, 37, Malvern, cited with emergency vehicles proceeding cautiously. Matthew is accused of making a left turn into a private driveway off South Lincoln avenue at the same time his vehicle was being passed by an ambulance driven by Joseph Walker and owned by KLG. A patient was being transported in the ambulance, which struck Matthew’s vehicle.

An April 15 pretrial was set for April D. House, 38, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, cited with obstructing official business for allegedly hiding the identity of a person police believed to by Larry Evans, when they came to her home looking for him on Friday.

An April 16 pretrial was set for Katrina M. Stanko, 41, Warren, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Michael E. Mayer, 19, Unity Line Road, New Waterford, was cited with underage consumption after East Palestine police were called to a home on Leake Street regarding loud music and underage drinking on Friday.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Janice C. Allmon, 68, Cleveland Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly attempting to interfere with attempts to take her son, Christian Weimer, into custody on a warrant on Friday.

MUNICIPAL

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday Sheridan S. Taylor, 21, Salineville Road West, Salineville, was bound over to the grand jury on a tampering with evidence charge. Court documents allege Taylor attempted to hinder an investigation by taking a digital CD from a case file on the desk of a police officer on Feb. 25.

A March 14 preliminary hearing was set for Charity A. Riggs, 19, South Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly stealing a check from Rebecca Simpson and writing it to herself for $175 before cashing it on Feb. 26.

Susan Jones, 51, last known address East Fifth Street, Salem, was sentenced to 89 days in jail for criminal damaging for kicking out a window and framing at the back door of Wayne Washington’s home on Jan. 16. A restitution hearing was set for April 4.

Casey A. Hockman, 27, Roseville, was fined $1,675, had his license suspended for one year and sentenced to 15 days in jail for OVI second offense, driving under suspension, head lights violation, hit skip, failure to reinstate a license and failure to control.

Ray E. Callehan, 46, West Main Street, Salineville, was fined $1,225, had his license suspended for 180 days and was sentenced to 60 days in jail for OVI first offense, hit skip, failure to control and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Emily S. Noel, 19, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $1,000, sentenced to 180 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for underage consumption.

Breanne N. Little, 25, state Route 558, Leetonia, was fined $730, had her license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to 20 days in jail for OVI first offense, failure to control and a seat belt violation.

Sue Mitzi Stoddard, 23, Moore Street, East Liverpool, was fined $350 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension, marked lanes and possession of drugs for two diazepam pills and two mylan pills found in her wallet.

James A. Huff, 37, state Route 558, New Waterford, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail and required 20 hours community service for reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

Jeremy Samuel Stanley, 29, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $225 for driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

Douglas P. Brayshaw, 24, East Rebecca Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 and required 40 hours community service for assault amended from domestic violence for entering the bedroom of George Gilbert while he was sleeping, starting an argument with him and then striking him in the head several times on Feb. 19.

John S. Brown Jr., 29, Continental Drive, Salem, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct after he had been drinking and was screaming at his girlfriend in public after being warned several times to stop.

Tracey L. Woods, 33, Toronto, was fined $100 unsafe vehicle amended from failure to control.

An April 22 pretrial was set for Brandon W. Gardner, 22, West Pinelake Road, Salem, charged with drug abuse for allegedly having a container with finely ground marijuana in his possession on Feb. 26.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, Joshua R. Smith, 30, Tippecanoe, was bound over to the grand jury on an illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment charge. According to court documents, Smith is accused of having a handgun in his possession at the Foxes Den shortly after midnight on Jan. 1 and pointing it at the abdominal area of another man in a threatening manner.

Mark Brown, Pritchard Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $1,000, had his license suspended for six months, credited with nine days in jail already served and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, no license, failure to control and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for taking his girlfriend’s vehicle without her consent on Feb. 23. A restitution hearing was set for April 4 regarding the vehicle.

Shawn Allen Legg, 49, Steubenville, was fined $305 and required 25 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license, a turn signal violation and a seat belt violation.

Brandon J. Zepernick, 19, Buffalo Road, Kensington, was fined $300, sentenced to seven days in jail in addition to the three already served and required 50 hours community service for underage consumption and failure to control.

Michael A. Gubesch, 34, Pleasant Ridge Street Southeast, Minerva, was fined $250, given credit for eight days served and required 80 hours community service for domestic violence for punching Tabbitha Boyd in the head several times and once in the mouth on Feb. 14.

Cody A. Wilson, 22, West South Range Road, Salem, was fined $100 and sentenced to 15 additional days in jail beyond the 15 he has already served for disorderly conduct for public intoxication.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday Christopher C. Stevens, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for failure to control and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Joshua Charles Bricker, 21, state Route 45, Salem, was fined $405, required 20 hours community service, had his license suspended for six month and sentenced to three days in jail for failure to control, a seat belt violation and physical control amended from OVI first offense.

Michael P. Esenwein, 27, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $250 and credited with 19 days already served for criminal damaging for driving a vehicle owned by Tiffany Michalak into a car belonging to Paul Kern and pushing it three feet before driving away on Sept. 7, 2012. A restitution hearing was set for May 7.

Joshua R. Andrews, 22, North Walnut Street, East Palestine, was fined $250, sentenced to three days in jail and required 80 hours community service for a fourth offense driving under suspension. A domestic violence charge against Andrews was dismissed due to an inability to find the victim, April Nail, who initially claimed she was assaulted by him at an England Drive home on Sept. 13, 2012.

Tammy L. Godwin, 48, South Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

James O. Moats, 75, U.S. Route 30, Kensington, was fined $150 for prohibition against violations of board of health orders for failing to abate a dumping nuisance and burning of solid waste on his property as he was ordered to do in May by the health department.

Edward A. Lohnes, 44, Fairway Drive, Alliance, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.

Caleb J. Watson, 36, Globe Street, East Liverpool, was fined $125 for no license and equipment misuse amended from driving under suspension and failure to control.

Jerusalem Trejo, 30, Fremont, was fined $100 for no license.

An April 8 pretrial was set for Levi D. Holloway, 19, Crestview Road, Leetonia, charged with OVI first offense, hit skip, failure to control and reckless operation.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday a March 11 preliminary hearing was set for Joseph M. Logan M. Jones, 22, Salem-Warren Road, Salem, was fined $300 for carrying a concealed weapon without a concealed carry permit and no license amended from driving under FRA suspension. Jones reportedly had a large amount of ammunition and a handgun on the floor behind the passenger seat with a loaded magazine behind it during a traffic stop on Feb. 28.

Brent A. Roy, 23, Grayson, Ky., was fined $250 for driving under suspension and littering from a vehicle.

Randy A. Wyand, 21, Merle Road, Salem, was fined $180 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana and a tail lights violation.

Kimberly Ache Davis, 19, Damascus, Ore., was fined $150 and had her license suspended for six months for drug paraphernalia for two acrylic pipes in her possession on Saturday.

Candee Campbell, 40, Lisbon-Canfield Road, Leetonia, was fined $100 and required 30 hours community service for assault for punching Beau McGuire in the head several times after McGuire broke out a bedroom window to get into his home when he reportedly was locked out.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday, Kathryn L. Fisher, 32, Washington Street, Salem, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the Common Pleas Court grand jury on an illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor establishment charge. According to court documents, Fisher had a loaded .22 caliber handgun and a loaded .45 caliber handgun both in her purse, while she was intoxicated. A witness reportedly told Salem police Fisher and a passenger in her vehicle had brandished a handgun while inside the Foxes Den night club on Jan. 1.

Henry Parks, 54, Middle Beaver Road, Lisbon, was fined $1,025, had his license suspended for a year and was sentenced to 163 days in jail for OVI second offense, driving under suspension, unsafe vehicle and speeding. A license requirement citation was dismissed.

Joseph W. Schossler, 33, Akron, was fined $1,025, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to seven days in jail for OVI first offense and open container. A turn signal violation was dismissed.

Keith Hilderbrand Jr., 23, Campbell Road, Hanoverton, was fined $675, sentenced to three days in jail and had his licenses suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense and failure to control.

Alford Jr., 38, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for abusing harmful intoxicants after he was found in September by customers at Walmart sitting in a vehicle inhaling a substance from a can, with another full can in his possession and 19 empty cans on the floor of the vehicle.

Melissa G. Doyle, 28, U.S. Route 62, Salem, was fined $250 for failing to stop for a school bus.

Kristine D. Meyer, 28, Wooster, was credited with one day served for obstructing official business for providing police with a bogus name and date of birth in 2007.

Stephen R. Morris, 38, state Route 172, Lisbon, was fined $100 for obstructing official business for refusing to cooperate with a deputy requesting his Social Security number. An April 4 pretrial was set for Morris’ father, Holbert S. Morris, 67, state Route 172, Lisbon, charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct for allegedly refusing to listen to deputy orders while the deputy was at the Morris residence on Tuesday to speak to them about horses being kept on the property.

Rachelle Hanevious, 36, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and credited with 33 days in jail served for domestic violence. Court documents state Hanevious on Nov. 19, struck her boyfriend Nicholas E. Korda in the left side of the head with a portable shower head, leaving him bleeding and seeking treatment at the Salem Community Hospital.

Edward B. Bailey, 29, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 20 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license and expired plates.

Michelle Satmare, 19, Artistic Street, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.

A March 7 pretrial was set for Jeremy A. Bender, 35, East Perry Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his father on Saturday.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Allen W. Lippiatt, 27, Youngstown, cited with driving with a temporary permit without an eligible driver and one way traffic.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Cierra N. Sokol, 18, Beaver Creek Road, Salem, charged with possession of instruments to ingest or inhale a controlled substance.

An April 4 pretrial was set for John P. Smollen Sr., 54, East Street, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension and assured clear distance.
