Warren man admits violating probation for drug trafficking

LISBON – Appearing in an orange Mahoning County jail jumpsuit, a Warren man stipulated in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court on Friday to probable cause he violated his probation.

Kasmond P. Parker, 26, Warren, pleaded guilty last year of complicity to trafficking in drugs for assisting co-defendant Francis J. Lewis in a trafficking offense on Nov. 2, 2011. Parker had been placed on a five-year intervention in lieu of conviction program, which requires him to stay out of trouble for the duration of the program.

According to Mahoning County court documents, Parker was indicted there on a robbery charge last week.

Parker agreed to waive a hearing and stipulate there was probable cause he violated his probation rules and a probation violation hearing was set for Nov. 1.
