Owners of Salem coffee shop charged with possession of drugs

LISBON – The owners of a Salem coffee shop were served with secret indictments at their home over the weekend.

Peter M. Lynch, 52, and his wife, Patricia Tinkler, 50, both of Summit Street, Salem, are each charged with one count of possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, after between one and five kilograms of marijuana reportedly were found at their home Oct. 1 by the Columbiana County Drug Task Force acting on a search warrant.

Lynch and Tinkler own the Friends Roastery in downtown Salem and recently opened a new location in downtown Youngstown.

The secret indictments were issued by the grand jury last week.
